Basics Principles of Language Learning:- There are simple techniques by which a person can learn a new language in a short period of six months, acquiring a high level of understanding, which challenges the now old-fashioned idea that adults are unable to learn a new language as fast as it does a child. It has always been believed that learning a new language requires a long process that takes years, sometimes without much success, we think that an adult is unable to learn it correctly and that it will be necessary in all cases to be immersed in that country where We speak the language we want to learn. This is totally false, with the experience of many people who have studied how babies learn languages, have developed a series of techniques aimed at achieving learning quickly, easily and effectively. Below are basics principles of language learning.

Basic Principles of Language Learning

Take into account these four words that interconnect in a fundamental way: attention, meaning, memory and relevance. Basically it is about paying attention to the content of the language that is relevant to you. In principle only what you use to communicate.

Use your new language as a tool to communicate from the beginning. It does not matter if you know a few words; try to communicate with what you know from the first moment.

When you first understand the general message, you will unconsciously acquire the language. At first you do not have to know the words, the important thing is that little by little you are catching the general idea of what they say to you.

He understands that the learning of a new language is not about acquiring more and more knowledge but about exercising the physiological training of our face directed to the language. Talking requires the use of multiple face muscles that are coordinated to make sounds that people understand.

The psychic state of the person learning is important. If you are sad, anxious, annoyed or worried, you will not learn, if you are cheerful and relaxed you will be much easier.

5 – Actions derived from these Principles for Learning a New Language

Listen a lot to the new language, this way your brain will absorb, no matter if you understand or not, the brain is able to recognize the rhythm of words, sound patterns, etc.

Focus on understanding meaning and then words, rely on body language to understand and make you understand.

Play with the words you already know. Just by knowing a few verbs, nouns and adjectives we will be able to put together thousands of sentences. Language is a creative process.

Copy the facial expressions of the people who speak the language you want to learn. Pay attention to how they move their face, their lips and try to imitate them.

Do not learn words by memorizing them as if they were a recipe associate the word and connect it with the mental image that your brain already has. In this way, when you listen to your brain, it will not make the mental process of remembering what it means but rather by association understanding it.

The important thing is to stay relaxed and curious to learn, expose yourself as much as possible to the new language, read it, listen to it, speak it and let your brain do the rest.
