Keys for Successful Teamwork | Fun Ways to Decorate your Office

Keys for Successful Teamwork:- When working as a team, the efforts are strengthened, the time to perform some activity is reduced and the efficiency in the results is increased. This is a form of work in which all the participants are focused towards the same goal in common. Teamwork can be implemented in any company.

6 – Keys for Successful Teamwork

Below are the 6 keys for successful teamwork that must be in your mind before thinking about to achieve your goals and objectives.

  1. Build trust

Trust is the main element of teamwork, and it also creates an environment where all participants know the skills of others understand their roles and know how to help each other.

  1. Establish Common Goals

For your employees to work as a team they must pursue the same goals. Therefore, it is important that you communicate the mission of the company in a uniform way and define how each member and department can contribute to fulfill it.

  1. Creates a Sense of Belonging

Humans need to feel part of something; therefore, the most powerful factor in the creation of teams is the development of a common identity. Define what identifies your teams, sets values and make each member aware of their impact on the team.

  1. Motivates Responsibility and Mutual Commitment

When a person is part of a team, he knows that the achievements or failures are the responsibility of each and every one of the members. Do not foster the mentality of “this is not my problem”; make problems and successes be shared.

  1. Encourages Communication

The only way for all members to work as an orchestra is to have the right channels of communication. Real teams listen and feed. They are willing to change their minds and create strategies together.

  1. Be a leader

Every team needs a leader who guides and gathers individual efforts. Do not “wash your hands” and be part of the team. As a leader you will have to reach consensus and make decisions, based on the ideas and opinions of your team.

Leaving the “I” aside and creating a team so that “we” can do great jobs within an organization for the same purpose, we obtain better results for the benefit of the company in a short time.

Fun Ways to Decorate your Office

There are many fun ways to decorate the office and live a harmonious environment during this season. Make sure that your company does not have any policy against decorating or doing so in ways that can be considered insensitive to others. *-If you are allowed to decorate your work area for Christmas, experts gives us several fun ideas that you can take into account

  1. Wrap photos

Possibly, your office has pictures and other decorations that hang from the walls. As part of the Christmas decoration, wrap the pictures, plaques and decorations on wrapping paper. Be careful when handling delicate wall decorations or avoid them altogether. Also, you can decorate the walls with a traditional bow for gifts.

  1. Miniature Trees

All employees who agree can buy small artificial Christmas trees of one or two feet (30.48 cm or 60.96 cm) high for their desks. Over the course of the holiday season, people in the office can decorate each other’s trees with their business cards. Employees who do not have business cards can create their own personalized decorations or small Christmas cards to put in the trees of all their companions.

  1. Theme

If you and the rest of the office have the time, have each department choose a Christmas theme and then have participating employees decorate their cubicles based on that theme. For example, the accounting group can decorate their area as Santa’s workshop. The accounting conference room can be decorated as the main toy assembly area, the manager’s office would be decorated as the head office of toy manufacturing, and a cubicle would be decorated as the post office and others as the control area of quality of the toys. Have each department meet and plan your decorating theme and give a prize to the one with the best idea.

  1. Socks

Just for the Christmas season, all participating employees can turn Christmas stockings into their inboxes. Have these people bring big Christmas stockings to hang outside their offices. Encourage employees to personalize their stockings by using glue to write their names along with other creative decorations that can hit them or sew them. Take the initiative to organize and encourage your colleagues to enjoy this Christmas. These activities will reduce stress and create a pleasant working day environment. Follow these tips and make the holiday season a pleasant keepsake for employees.
