How to Manage a Team Remotely:- The current communication tools make it possible to build new organizations with collaborators not necessarily working on the same site, or even being based at home. The most classic case is that of a commercial team. However, it may be necessary to manage remote specialists as computer scientists scattered over several sites. Faced with the advantages provided by this mode of work is a question in the form of problem: how to manage a team remotely?

  1. The follow-Up

To favor the autonomy of its collaborators does not mean to abandon them. The term may be a bit strong, but it’s important to understand that the farther away your team is, the more you need to build a strong bond. Remote Manager requires a significant investment in communication, monitoring and even presence.

With distance, these shared goals become even more important for transforming a sum of individualities apart from each other into a real team. Beyond individual management, the challenge is to recreate conditions similar to those experienced by a team working on the same site. Here again, the corporate social network is an excellent tool for fostering team spirit. It is still advisable to organize regular physical meetings, because nothing replaces the human warmth!

Conclusion

Remote Manager requires even more listening from the manager because he is not on hand to perceive weak signals, signs of difficulties. The organization of work must be done in a well-defined framework with planned validation milestones.
