Socially Responsible Entrepreneurs

In recent years the entrepreneurship sector has been in charge of confirming how positive it is for new entrepreneurs to adopt socially responsible profiles. Traits such as the search for ecological efficiency have accompanied young entrepreneurs on their way to success.

The world returns the effort they make to help the environment with a profile of achievements and benefits of high level, framed in a group of companies increasingly applauded for knowing how to combine their socially responsible personality, with the search for good results. This is something that can be seen in important entrepreneurs and executives of the world who have made their companies make a difference and serve as an example for those who come behind.

Socially Responsible Entrepreneurs Example

These are the cases of three entrepreneurs who have adopted social responsibility initiatives in their companies. All of these three are also well known as socially responsible entrepreneurs in all over the entire societies.

  1. Howard Schultz, the most Responsible Coffee

One of the strongest men in the corporate industry who has demonstrated the benefits of taking your company through a socially responsible profile is Howard Schultz . The Starbucks tycoon has established himself as one of the most significant faces when it comes to working for others and for the world. Their coffees use quality raw materials that protect the environment and work so that working conditions, on the other hand, are adequate among all their employees.

One of its main goals is to take care of business ethics . An example of this is the way in which it ensures the well-being of both clients and their employees in order to achieve an entrepreneurial ecosystem that is beneficial to all stakeholders.

  1. Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, Social ice Cream

Another clear example of entrepreneurs who have made themselves and their business in a responsible way are Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield , who decades ago founded the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream brand . His work has been organized around the idea of giving back to the world as much as possible , deriving its benefits from its employees and the community.

In their formula of work there is no goal that involves profit at the expense of others, but what they want is to help the world. A good example of this is found in the existence of the Ben & Jerry’s Foundation, through which the founders of the company are dedicated to make donations and to collaborate with different charities to boost them and help them grow. Their donations are millionaire and with them have been carried out multitude of social projects, from the creation of NGOs to the development of structures that have helped the most disadvantaged.

  1. Anita Roddick, beauty for those who need it

There is no doubt that one of the major chain businesses related to beauty, is The Body Shop , which started as the project of an entrepreneurial and has finished transforming into an organization recognized internationally by all kinds of people. Its founder, Anita Roddick , has always worked in a socially responsible way to show the world how serious they are about being transparent.

Among their commitments is to show the way in which they work and how they do it, so that there is no doubt about each initiative they carry out. In addition, they also collaborate with causes that need it and invest millions to support the protection of the environment, the fight for the security of human rights and also the rights of animals. She has been a sponsor of Greenpeace, as well as other organizations that work day and day in protecting those who are abandoned. They are also well known for having collected signatures for the protection of animal rights.

These three cases are just a small example of what the corporate sector is doing to carry out socially responsible actions , something that must happen in every company since its formation. As important brands as Starbucks or The Body Shop have always respected the environment and this has helped them to grow, pushing them towards a positive and satisfying path . His work and effort serve as an example to be followed by thousands of entrepreneurs who are starting and who want to follow in the footsteps of those who have succeeded not only with hard work and hard work, but also being socially responsible.
