How to reward Employees | Good Habits in the Workplace: A proactive employee is that element within the organization that always wants to excel, tries to be the best, and also maintains a good attitude in all the situations that face.

This kind of employees should be recognized for their work, not only with monetary incentives, but also certain gratifications that different experts mention on the basis of their experience and expertise. One of them is to congratulate you personally for some achievement. Know in detail how to reward employees for job well done in the business workplace.

How to reward Employees for Job Well Done

  1. Do not forget the achievements and goals achieved

Rewarding employees should be directly connected with recognizing their accomplishments. Whenever your team achieves a goal, whenever one of your departments reaches a goal, make it public, let the last person inside the company know what has happened.

And do not stay here, sure that within that team there are one or two key people. Take them to your office and congratulate them personally. This recognition will make them leave their office with desire to eat the world.

  1. Reward ideas

Any valuable idea should be rewarded. A good idea can change the direction of the company especially if you just started a business. It may be an important distinction. That’s why you should reward employees who – if not once only – are continually contributing ideas and suggestions successfully.

  1. Recognize effort even in Failures

As an entrepreneur, you better know that, just as there can be successes, there can be failures. However, this is part of life, the important thing before a failure is to get up as soon as possible to be able to face the following challenges, and, for that, the spirit and recognition of the boss is very important for the employee. Rewarding employees when things are not going well is tremendously valued.

  1. Recognize Seniority

Establish cycles and then reward your employees. Normally all employees who are 3 or 5 years in the company should be awarded, and this time, if it would be an economic reward. It is a prize for loyalty. There are many ways to reward employees, but remember, the most important thing in the end is that your company provides benefits.

Good Habits in the Workplace

Good work habits will help us to be more productive in the day to day and especially to perform better in the activities that are assigned. Here are some good habits that every professional should have to be more successful in their job:

1 – Rest and adequate food: It is important to educate the metabolism to eat at least three meals a day to get a good diet and at the same time you should rest 8 hours at night to have more energy and perform better work.

2 – Personal hygiene: You must take care of your personal image, remember that it is you who gives the face to the company, so you always have to show the work in the proper way, with the appropriate clothing, makeup, hairstyle among others.

3 – Arrive early at your desk: With a few minutes, you can accommodate yourself in the best way, organize and start the workday avoiding discomfort and stress.

4 – Try to work in a clean space: Your desk should be neat and tidy, because it speaks a lot about the order you have as a person. Similarly, if you keep everything in place, it helps you not to lose documents, as opposed to keeping them organized at all times and having them handy.

5 – Maintain an agenda with your established priorities: During the morning the human being is usually more productive, this is where you have to perform your most urgent and important tasks. Maintain a daily goal list so you do not have work overload during the last days of the week.

6 – Do not take more work than you can carry: It is not a matter of showing your skills, it is a matter of doing your job in the best way possible and that you cannot achieve if you find yourself constantly filling up with work. It’s never bad to ask for help, that does not make you a bad employee.

7 – Be friendly with your co-workers: Ideally, you should have good relationships with people you see eight hours a day, but not all cases work this way. The important thing is to show fellowship, to avoid problems and to work in an educated way within the group so that everyone feels comfortable within the work. I always used to send my colleagues good morning messages once or a couple of times a week. This actually allows you build a great professional relationships with them.

Every good habit, as small as it may seem, defines your personality and character. Keep in mind that your performance and productivity can increase with organized routine, set goals daily to motivate you to success.
