How Coaching can Improve Your Company Performance? We are all born with the capacity to be leaders within our environment of action, nevertheless in the development of the personality, the majority of the individuals lose that quality and they are dispersed within the social mass. Recovering from being a leader is not something that is taught in colleges or universities and therefore Coaching emerges as a tool of great utility that allows the integral development and the discovery of themselves.

What is Coaching?

Coaching is a discipline designed to facilitate the processes of personal or professional development of the individual, enhancing their abilities of action in function of the achievement of goals and achievement of objectives, through the promotion of deep cognitive, emotional and behavioral changes in the individual.

8 Ways to Improve Work Motivation in the Workplace

The coach should not be confused with a psychologist, while psychology focuses on the past to solve present problems; Coaching puts all its attention on the present. What we are, what we want to achieve, what we are capable of being.

In this way, it offers us the opportunity to analyze who we really are in terms of a specific goal and allows the design of an action plan, in which each step brings us, closer to our final goal.

How Coaching can improve your Company?

Executives and leaders of the world’s large corporations understand the need to have a coach who offers you the tools to reflect on those personal obstacles that can limit us on the road to personal success and productivity of our companies.

The coaching aimed at productivity offers customized learning tools, which allows the individual to overcome their own limits through a process of personal transformation, always aimed at a specific target, which in this case will be, that pursued by the directors of the company.

Coaching should be personal

The learning process through leadership practices are carried out on each individual member of the company concerned, individually, hoping that personal transformation serves the objectives of the company, since those tools acquired Will be easily transferred to the work environment.

Feedback between Coach and adviser

Through coaching , a plan is carried out in which, by mutual agreement , the coach and his / her adviser, make reflections about how their attitude may be affecting their capacities within the company and through this exchange of ideas, identify What are the limitations and what techniques will be applied to overcome them.

Coaching as a business paradigm shift

Numerous studies have shown that the application of coaching aimed at productivity is an effective tool that dramatically improves the performance of employees of a company and therefore the effectiveness of the same in the business world.

It implies a change in the business productivity paradigm, since it is aimed at creating a type of leadership in which there is a relationship of trust between the managers of the companies and their workers, as well as a balance between the objectives of the company and the objectives of each of its members.

Business Productivity Vs The staff

Under these new schemes, productivity must be seen from three very different but interrelated points of view, such as the personal life of the workers, their family life and finally their working life. These three factors must be in balance so that a person can achieve a high level of efficiency.

The application of coaching to productivity, seeks to achieve a balance between these three factors, which will aim to ensure that each worker has a high motivation to perform within the company.

Therefore, Executive Coaching is necessary and very useful for those companies that aspire to be highly productive, and that join the new business productivity trends, that pursue efficiency in the economic, environmental and social areas. This will be fundamental not only for productivity but also for competitiveness.

Features that make a Leader

  1. Should be dreamer:They are generally clear about their purpose in life and do not fear dreaming the impossible.
  2. Should be creative:He is a person capable of adapting to change by offering a new and different vision of doing things
  3. Should be passionate:He surrenders to what he does, he persuades all those around him, who are infected with his enthusiasm
  4. Punctual:It works to achieve its objectives by planning and prioritizing its activities, without making excuses and focused on the goal
  5. Should be good Communicator:He knows how to convey his vision to the other members of the team and is able to inspire them
  6. Team worker:He does not separate from his team but works with them as one more.
  7. Offer solutions:The leader does not command but is there to offer quick and feasible solutions. You are able to guide your team towards these solutions.
  8. Proactive:Always one step ahead of others

All the conditions that a leader must have are natural to anyone, but often the fears and insecurities make us withdraw and inhibit our true abilities. The use of Coaching within companies to empower potential leaders has become very useful and not only serve to promote individualities but will serve to develop the capabilities of teams as a whole, boosting the cohesion of its members and achievement of their common goals.
